The process
Each piece at Clayshop is crafted using air-dry clay — a material that allows for detailed work and a smooth, lightweight finish. Once sculpted, the drying time can range from less than a day to several days, depending on the size and thickness of the piece.
After the clay has fully dried, it’s either left in its natural form or carefully hand-painted using acrylic paint. To ensure durability and a clean finish, every item is then sealed with varnish. This process gives each piece its final character, combining function, style, and a handmade touch.
